In 2025, Ghana Food Movement launched a new step toward building the GFM Kitchen Academy: a culinary training program designed to strengthen the skills and capacity of Ghanaian culinary talents.

In collaboration with the Melting Pot Foundation — a Danish nonprofit known for using food as a tool for social change — we are co-developing a training curriculum rooted in local knowledge, sustainable practices, and inclusive teaching.
Over the course of the year, our chefs are participating in immersive in-person sessions and guided coaching sessions that explore everything from practical culinary skills to curriculum development, sustainability, and pedagogy.

This partnership is not about importing ideas — it’s about exchanging knowledge, elevating Ghanaian food systems, and building a lasting culinary training ecosystem that works for Ghana, by Ghanaians.
