To be a home for innovation and change makers creating a thriving food system. Ghana Food Movement

MEMBERS

*also known as Movers

We move.

Our members are young and action-driven. From farmers, scientists, chefs, engineers, journalists, artists, marketers, policy makers, entrepreneurs, producers and designers all highlighting the potential of Ghanaian food. They are at the key to who we are.

GFM is a safe meeting place where we learn from each other, challenge each other and need each other to get ahead and change our future.

We value Ghana’s indigenous food culture and recognize that it needs to adapt to stay relevant. We also understand that we can only find the answers for tomorrow by having a profound understanding of the present and past. Most of all, GFM is a place where food is elevated as a force for happiness and good!

"Connecting with other movers can help you build your network, promote your work or source talent and keep you updated on innovations and developments. But maybe more importantly: you can find like minded people, energy and inspiration in the movement!"    Jamie Saleeby, Sankofa Snacks

We're totally stoked about our company members! The food movers are all shaking things up in the food scene in Ghana, each in their own cool way. Whether it's whipping up milk alternatives, cooking up delicious snacks, or designing on-the-go packaging for munching on the move, they're killing it. We're pumped to see what each of them comes up with next!
